Description

Model GL7000 USA TM. TM stands for terminal strip connections, the load is connected direct to the generator by attaching the bared ends of the load wires to crimp down terminal provided on the genset. That means there is 3 large lugs to direct connect your load wires to instead of using twist lock plugs or extension cords. See the pdf file for a photo of this feature (pdf picture of receptacles and specs) pop up window.

The LOWBOY II Series is designed to have the minimum possible height while using vertical diesel engines. This is achieved by direct coupling of the engine crankshaft with the cooling fan. Since they require less space for operation, the range of possible applications has been greatly increased. Includes single point lifting eye and openings incorporated on the bottom for fork lifts.

Kubota generators provide reliable power to meet the most demanding requirements. These high quality Japanese generators are designed and built to withstand tough environments at construction sites, off the grid applications and provide dependable temporary clean power at entertainment venues and disaster recovery operations. By utilizing the latest state of the art voltage regulation and the highest quality solid state circuit boards Kubota generators are safe to use with sensitive equipment like computers, cells phones and anywhere clean power is needed.  The easy to maintain design offers quick access to all drain extensions and filters making routine maintenance even easier.

Add an automatic start module and this unit is ready for a commercial or residential back up or an off the grid primary power source. Not weather proof.

See the Multiquip DA7000SSA3 instead https://unitedgenerator.com/proddetail.php?prod=DA7000SSA3. A better machine for a little more money. It is quieter and has easier engine / alternator access. It includes a control panel cover and sound insulation foam on the inner housing. A very nice machine.

Note from UG President Mike: A couple of things I really like about the Multiquip DA7000SSA3 generator compared to the Kubota GL7000USA and the GL7000TM. Both units use the same Kubota engine Kubota / Z482-E3B. The DA7000SSA3 genset comes with both plug receptacles and terminal lugs for hard wiring – the Kubota’s are one or the other but not both.  The DA7000SSA3 includes sound absorbent foam which makes it quieter. The DA7000SSA3 features single side access to all service components and filters making it easier to service and it can be placed right up against a wall or back board on a flat bed truck. The MQ genset includes big access doors on both sides. The Kubota has one small door on one side only allowing access to engine & battery only – further access requires the unbolting of panels. DA7000SSA3 all the outlets are on the left end of the genset and they are covered by a weather door that is included in the price. The weather door does not come with the Kubota and cost almost $300 extra. Over all the DA7000SSA3 includes all the bells and whistles and justifies the added expense. Don’t get me wrong. The Kubota is still an outstanding bargin and a great value for the money for a liquid cooled high quality diesel generator. I highly recommend both and prefer the MQ over the Kubota when it comes to the TM models. Buy the one that includes the features you desire based on price. Hope this helps you make your best decision. Mike.
