Description

The MQ Power Multiquip Model DA7000SSA3. It is the smallest of the Whisper Watt Series, 7kW (7 kVA) 60 Hz, Sound Enclosure, Kubota Engine Z482-E3B , super silent, single phase, diesel fueled, liquid cooled, 3600 RPM, electric start, Tier 4 Final. Trailer and product options below.

The DA7000SSA3 series generator is proven to handle the toughest applications in the most extreme environments with remarkable results. This model is available with a magnitude of options which assist in making this the perfect choice for any job site requirements. This generator is rated weather resistant so it maybe used outdoors in the wet weather.

The DA7000SSA3 is a 7kW Single phase generator with a 1.0 power factor, 120/240 volt output and has a 2-pole field. It features a mechanical governor that maintains a steady state 60 Hz within 3-5% from no load to full load. Its comprehensive analog control panel includes instruments such as an lamps, volt meter, and hour meter along with a Main GFCI circuit breaker. A single-side maintenance design provides direct access to all filters. At 534 lbs (242 kg), the DA7000SSA3 is the lightest model in the series of WhisperWatt Super-Silent Generators. Note from UG President Mike: A couple of things I really like about this generator compared to the Kubota GL7000USA and the GL7000TM. This generator is rated weather resistant so it maybe used outdoors in the wet weather. The Kubota GL7000 and GL11000 are not. Both units use the same Kubota engine Kubota / Z482-E3B. The DA7000SSA3 genset comes with plug receptacles, terminal lugs for hard wiring not available. The Kubota’s are one or the other but not both.

The DA7000SSA3 includes sound absorbent foam which makes it quieter. The DA7000SSA3 features single side access to all service components and filters making it easier to service and it can be placed right up against a wall or back board on a flat bed truck. The MQ genset includes one big access door on the service side. The Kubota has one small door on one side only allowing access to engine, oil dip stick & battery only – further access requires the unbolting of panels. DA7000SSA3 all the outlets are on the left end of the genset and they are covered by a weather door that is included in the price. The weather door does not come with the Kubota and cost almost $350 extra. Over all the DA7000SSA3 includes all the bells and whistles and justifies the added expense.
